How you feel when you are keeping a secret? Pretty special – at least you feel pretty special when it’s a nice secret, right? It’s a great feeling to know something good, and fun, and… well… special!
But an even better feeling is when you share that secret with someone else. Imagine the hushed whispers as you lean in to quietly tell your best friend a secret you’ve been keeping for weeks and just bursting to share. You can hardly control your voice because it’s so special and you know it’s going to make their eyes pop with surprise when they hear it.
That’s the feeling I’ve got right now. I’ve got a secret I’ve been keeping for more than a few weeks… it’s been longer than the few months this blog has now been running… in fact it’s been years I’ve kept this secret… and now it’s time to start sharing it with my closest friends… and you guys too, of course!
how to share a secret
It’s tough to keep a secret, but it’s also tough to share it. At least, it’s tough to share it correctly.
If you share your secret too quickly, it can spoil whatever it is… and just the same, if you share it too slowly, it can spoil too.
Since I can’t whisper in your ear with a blog post, I’ll have to figure out a different way to share the secret so you all get the most out of it.
timing is everything
This is so true. I want to make the most of sharing this secret, so I’m not quite ready to release it… yet. But it’s on the way. I need to figure out a couple things first and then I’ll let you know the secret, and I hope you like it. It will be worth the wait.
